TechPEPCon is an international veterinary research consortium coordinated by Ghent University. Together with partners from Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Russia, frontline technologies will be applied to screen pathogens, environment and animals for a more efficient disease control in swine herds. This collaborative project was selected in the first call of the Era-Net Co-fund on infectious diseases ICRAD (International coordination of research on infectious diseases). ICRAD Era-Net received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 862605. National funding agencies are also supporting this three-year project that started on March 1st, 2021.
